ZIMDEF: A Fund for Skilled Manpower and Innovation

ZIMDEF is a statutory body that collects a 1% training levy from employers and uses it to support various initiatives for human skills development and innovation in Zimbabwe. ZIMDEF also promotes the creation of new knowledge, research, science, technology, engineering, and business enterprises.
