Gonarezhou National Park - Game Drives

New activity alert!

For the first time, Gonarezhou will be offering game drives from the 17th of December 2022 and beyond. After several requests, game drives will now be available to assist those without access to offroad vehicles for game viewing by offering our custom-built open-sided 4×4 game drive vehicles (game viewers), designed to provide you with unobstructed all-around views. Every guest gets a window seat, and with our locally trained learner guides, they will ensure that each game drive will be an unforgettable safari. Over this festive season, two vehicles will be available daily at the main gate (Chipinda Pools), offering drives into the Park. Each vehicle can accommodate a maximum of 9 people but will need a minimum of 6 people on the vehicle to depart– departure times are 07h00 for a morning drive (+/- 3 hours), 15h00 for an evening drive (+/- 3 hours) and 08h00 for a full day (including cliffs) returning approx. 17h00.

You are encouraged to make a booking in advance, but where people arrive on time, we can allow for walk-ins. For more information on the Game drive, please contact our Reservations Team, and they will assist you:
